New Delhi: iQOO is possibly going to launch its flagship device, the iQOO 15 Ultra, in the overseas market. The device has recently appeared on the EEC (European Economic Commission) certification website, a site that is often a first step on the road to overseas rollout. The listing doesn’t provide a lot of information, but it doesn’t show anything to say otherwise, and it does strongly suggest that the phone will be on sale outside of China in the near future.
There are two model numbers (V2546A and the I2603) that are part of the certification. As the name suggests, the V2546A is the Chinese variant of the recently launched iQOO 15 Ultra in China. Its addition to the EEC list suggests that iQOO is now on the verge of building up its portfolio and is planning to launch its devices to other regions as well in the coming days. What about the second model number, I2603, which is still out of researchers’ reach and hasn’t been revealed by the officials yet?
The iQOO 15 Ultra might be the device of choice for them, whether mobile gamers or those looking for maximum performance. Compared with the standard iQOO 15, the Ultra has a cool fan, pressure sensitive shoulder keys and a larger battery for longer fun. The attributes of the Ultra variant are the energized cooling fan, pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons, and larger battery to support all your gaming sessions.
The smartphone features a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a high resolution of 2K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Supporting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, it can run heavy workloads and games, and has up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Its rear camera has a triple 50MP setup for photos, and the front camera is a 32MP. This includes the 3x optical zoom lens on the periscope camera and the ultra-wide lens on the main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). It also runs on a gigantic 7,400mAh battery too (that charges via 100W wired and 40W wireless). It also brings Android 16 for the platform, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, water and dust resistance (IP68/IP69), stereo speakers, NFC, and an IR blaster.
iQOO’s worldwide release date has not officially been announced yet. But the EEC certification is done, so an official announcement may be coming soon.
