Pune: Refrigeration and Gas Compression systems player Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd (KPCL) has reported a 21% year on year rise in standalone profit to ₹34 crore from ₹28 crore a year ago. This growth has come after the company worked to improve its operational efficiencies and cost management strategies. The company’s revenues from operations grew a modest 10% for Q1FY27 to reach ₹300 crore, compared to ₹273 crore recorded in the same quarter last year.
KPCL’s EBITDA has grown to ₹54 crore this time, a 23% year-on-year rise, a testament to its operational efficiencies. The company’s order book stands at ₹1,853 crore as on July 1, 2026.
“While revenue growth during the quarter was modest, the Company maintained a stable business performance in a dynamic operating environment. We remain focused on executing our strategic priorities, expanding our product portfolio, and improving operational efficiencies, which we believe will support sustainable long-term growth.” Aman Kirloskar, Managing Director, KPCL, said in a press release.
Currently, the company has seen its compression business be the primary revenue driver, accounting for almost 94% of its revenue. KPCL is aiming to change that by expanding into biogas, with its ‘Tonalli’ biogas solution that can produce biogas for commercial establishments with a capacity of processing 100-250 kg of food waste per day.
