New Delhi: OnePlus has recently officially shut down its operations in most parts of the world, but software upgrades will continue to be rolled out to eligible devices with the latest flavor. OxygenOS will be replaced by Oppo’s ColorOS on all active OnePlus devices. OnePlus has also confirmed a massive restructuring that will completely retire the OxygenOS software platform globally.
According to the following official release of ColorOS 17, all active OnePlus devices will have the option to upgrade to the latest ColorOS voluntarily, OnePlus wrote in the post on the OnePlus Community. OnePlus Community post doesn’t reveal which devices are lined up for the ColorOS 17 update; however, if you want to know the update policy for each device, compile the list below.

OnePlus also stated this strategy adjustment allows us to streamline software development, accelerate update delivery, improve software quality, and make better use of our shared engineering and R&D capabilities. It actually means we can still hope for timely software releases, which have been a key part of OxygenOS.
