Gurgaon: Oil and gas exploration major South West Pinnacle Exploration Limited reported a 287% surge in net profit to ₹9.3 crore for Q1FY27, as the company worked toward strong execution and a record-breaking order pipeline. The company’s order book has reached an all time high of ₹761 crore, highlighting the company’s operational strength and high market demand, while offsetting the margin pressures from rising input costs across the sector.
The company has witnessed a strong rise in operational revenue, which grew 53% year on year to ₹61.7 crore, with its expanding order book reflecting major project additions and contract extensions across its core energy and mineral sectors. The company has also worked towards maintaining tighter control over its operating expenses with its EBITDA margins expanding to nearly 24%, reaching ₹14.5 crores. It has worked to strengthen cost management and higher operational efficiency across its drilling and site preparation contracts.
This year, the company has completed drilling over 200 CBM wells for leading clients like Reliance Industries, Oil India and Dart Energy. South West Pinnacle is looking to operationalise its mining operations in Jharkhand, with the company expecting the mine to go live by FY 2027-28.
“This performance is despite dynamic and often challenging business environment including substantial increase in input cost. During this challenging time, the company expanded its footprint, strengthened client relationships, and enhanced capabilities across multiple domains of mineral exploration and drilling” Mr Vikas Jain, Chairman and MD of South West Pinnacle, said in a press release.
