New Delhi: According to several recent leaks, it appears that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has been a refinement of the original Ultra instead of a complete redesign. However, the official-looking marketing renders reveal both its design and some key specs ahead of the expected debut at Galaxy Unpacked.
It might feature a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with up to 5,000nits peak brightness and Sapphire Crystal protection.
It might be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Wear Elite processor and expected to deliver better AI performance and improved battery efficiency over the previous generation. It might be coupled with 2GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage, and storage remains among the highest in the Wear OS smartwatch segment.
It houses a 800mAh battery, and the company is expected to advertise multi-day battery life, with several reports indicating it might exceed three days under typical use.
However, several renders suggested that Samsung is sticking with the familiar squircle case unveiled on the first Galaxy Watch Ultra, but with minor refinements the latest graphite gunmetal titanium finish. Dark green sport band shown in leaked marketing images with orange quick button retained.
Numbered bezel markings replace the earlier minimalist tick marks. Samsung is widely expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 at its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, 2026, along with the Galaxy Watch 9 series and latest Galaxy Z foldables.
