New Delhi: Asus has recently made a comeback by announcing its latest Asus Pad. This Asus Pad will be introduced in India on August 6. However, the pricing remains under wraps; the tablet is already official, and its key specs are known after its global introduction last month.
It features a 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-layer OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000nits of peak brightness. This panel also offers 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and is certified for low flicker and reduced blue light emissions.
For the camera, it includes a 13MP main camera sensor and a 5MP primary camera sensor on the front for selfies and video calling. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset coupled with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM. Out of the box, it runs on Android 16, and it comes with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.
Users can also expand the storage up to 1 TB via the microSD card slot. Asus Pad houses a 9,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, which can charge the device from 0% to 50% in around 30 minutes.
It features with a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos 360-degree cinematic sound for an immersive audio experience. It also comes with the supports Asus Pen 2.0 and compatible Bluetooth keyboards, enabling users to take notes, sketch, edit documents, and handle productivity tasks. It includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, while the tablet does not offer SIM support.
