New Delhi: Apple has recently given a surprise to their older iPhone users, they have released iOS 12.5.8 and iPadOS 12.5.8 updates that no longer support the new versions of iOS. This latest update also includes a certificate extension that is now set to expire in January 2027. This certification is now needed for the core services like iMessage and FaceTime to continue working. Apple has also started rolling out the update along with the other software releases and beta versions for its newer operating systems. This latest update has also been reported to arrive more than three years after the last iOS 12 release, which was rolled out in January 2023.
