Mumbai: Unimech Aerospaces’ subsidiary Innomech Aerospace Toolings Private Limited has secured a ₹72.20 crore order from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) for the manufacture and supply of support equipment at the Tarapur Atomic Power Plant in Maharashtra.
According to a regulatory filing, the company is expected to meet a delivery schedule up to December 2028, as Unitech Aerospaces strengthens its portfolio in high precision engineering components for the aerospace, defence and nuclear power sector.
Unimech Aerospaces stock has underperformed since its blockbuster market debut on December 31, 2024. The stock was oversubscribed 174 times, with investors hoping for good returns from the company, which counts Airbus, Boeing, Pratt & Whitney as its clients.
The company’s consolidated net revenues have remained stagnant at ₹6,198.19 crore in Q2 FY26, a slight increase from ₹6,145.03 crore recorded in the same quarter last year. The company’s consolidated PAT for Q2 FY26 was ₹1,567.09 crore, falling 13.2% from ₹1,805.16 crore reported in Q2 FY25. This has been attributed to an increase in expenses for the company.
Unimech has been deploying the IPO proceeds to scale up its manufacturing facilities, but near term stock performance is expected to remain subdued, even as the company looks to expand its order pipeline in the coming years.
Unimech’s shares were trading at ₹905.90 at 12.15 PM on January 07, 2026. The stock has declined 37% since listing.
