New Delhi: On average, large business enterprises such as Tatas, Birlas, and others pay thousands of crores of rupees annually to construct new plant or acquire other businesses. But at this moment, something is going on. They are tightening their belts. This is because they are very tight fisted with their money. Although they are extremely wealthy, they are saving their money instead of dissipating money on new products.
This is because of the economic uncertainty. Simple put, they are not aware of what will happen tomorrow. As it is being at war in certain areas around the world, oil prices are rising and falling, and there is even the fear of being in a recession, these big bosses believe that it is safe to be on the side of the safe. They fear that by using all their money presently and a major crisis next year ensues, they will be at a loss. It is similar to how we store our pocket money when we believe that we can be needed to do something equally important in the future.
This sluggish expenditure of large businesses is somewhat concerning to the nation. Every time companies use money they construct factories and factories provide employment to the people. In case they cease spending, new employment opportunities are not generated as rapidly. However, to the companies, they are merely being savvy. They are hoping that the dark clouds of the global economy will be cleared.
