Honda showcases CB500SF and CBR500R Four to Chinese market

New Delhi: Honda is now definitely going to make some crazy things in the automobile market, because in China, they have launched their two latest motorcycles at the CIMAMotor 2025, the CB500SF and the sportier CBR500R Four. Both bikes are powered by an all-new 502CC, liquid-cooled, inline four engine that is expected to deliver around 80 bhp. This latest Honda CB500SF draws inspiration from the brand’s iconic CB400SF; it is going to feature an round LED headlamp, retro bodywork, and the modern classic streetfighter stance.

However, the fully faired Honda CBR500R Four features a sportier visual appeal with the sharp bodywork and the sporty styling that resembles the CBRs of the world. Under the bodywork, both of the motorcycles are underpinned by the same diamond frame, suspended on upside-down front forks and a linked-type rear monoshock. Braking hardware includes disc brakes with the Nissin callipers, while the Honda E-Clutch system is also part of the package.

Honda hasn’t yet revealed all of the details or the global launch timelines about the bikes, which will rival the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R and the likes in the international markets. An India launch is unlikely, but these could be exciting alternatives to many middleweight bikes in India.
