New Delhi: From the recent news new things coming out that Shantanu Naidu has joined Tata Motors as a general manager and head of strategic initiatives. Shantanu Naidu is the close friend of the late Ratan Tata who was the owner of the Tata Group by the Dead of Ratan Tata, Shantanu Naidu has disappeared for some time because he didn’t think about the death of Ratan Tata and from his social media platforms LinkedIn account he has written that “ I am happy to say that I have joined the Tata Motors as a general manager and head of a strategic initiative.
Shantanu Naidu first set foot in the Tata Group of companies in May 2009, he joined as an engineering Intern. According to the LinkedIn profile of Shantanu, he has led the design teams right now which eliminates the design time when Shnatanu gives some guidelines to the design teams thus saving 27 percent of design time. Later September 2014, he joined Tata Elxsi as a design engineer and worked there till July 2016. After that Shantanu joined Tata Trusts as a Business Strategy Intern before taking a step into the office of Ratan Tata as deputy general manager in July 2018.
Shantanu Naidu has been appointed as the General Manager of Ratan Tata’s office and he worked till January of this month, before taking a new position at Tata Motors. If we talk about the education of Shantanu Naidu, Shantanu Naidu did his Bachelor of Engineering, in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University between 2010 and 2014. In 2016, Naidu went to Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management for his Master of Business Administration in New York, USA. After returning to India Shantanu Naidu joined the office of Ratan Tata.
Other than working at the Tata group of companies, Shantanu Naidu founded “Motopaws” in January 2009. This was an NGO of abandoned and stray animals which was founded by Ratan Tata. In May 2020, Naidu founded a counseling platform called “On Your Sparks” to inspire and introduce new entrepreneurs to the right values and foundations before entering a real startup. In July 2021, Naidu founded “Goodfellows” which aimed at providing company, service, and meaningful experiences to senior citizens.
Shantanu Naidu and Ratan Tata met 10 years ago in 2014 when Naidu formerly began working at the Tata group of companies by time Shantanu Naidu and Ratan Tata created a deep friendship and as time passed they have become close friends and Shantanu Naidu has said that Ratan Tata is the lighthouse of my life. Naidu promised to Ratan Tata after graduation he would join the Tata group of companies and after Ratan Tata’s death, Shantanu Naidu joined Tata Motors as general manager at a young age.
