New Delhi: Ratan Tata the respected chairman of Tata Sons who has just been hospitalized at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai after seeing a sudden drop in blood pressure. He was admitted early hours of October 7, 2024, around 12:30 AM. However, Tata immediately silenced all health concerns on social media by reassuring his followers that there is “no need to worry.”
According to an Instagram post, the industrialist, who said he has regular check-ups about his age and current health conditions. “I know there are rumors going around about my health, and I want to make it clear that these claims are not true. I am in good spirits.” He also pleaded with the public and media to refrain from spreading false information about his condition.
The fans and followers were worried by the news of his hospital visit because of his stature as a national icon and philanthropist. Ratan Tata has contributed much to the different industry through the Tata Group, at the helm from 1991 to 2012 and again taking over from 2016 to 2017. He does not handle daily operations anymore; he supervises charitable work through the Tata Trusts.
In fact, Tata has a social following of more than 13 million on X (formerly Twitter) and close to 10 million on Instagram, and his posts sometimes go out as a mark of commitment towards social causes, especially animal rights.
Later, addressing rumors that had been doing the rounds, representatives of Tata clarified that he was in the hands of cardiologist Dr. Sharukh Aspi Golwalla and his team of intensive care specialists. They made it very clear that although he does have a health issue, he is stable and receiving the right treatment.
