Profit surge, Blinkit losses its target
New Delhi: Zomato is expected to show a big jump in profits for the last quarter, according to ICICI Securities. They think Zomato could make Rs 249 crore in profit, up from Rs 138 crore in the previous quarter and a Rs 204 crore loss a year ago. Sales are expected to hit Rs 3,513 crore, a 71% increase from last year. People are curious about Zomato’s gains in the food delivery market, how many orders they’ve been getting lately, if they’ve changed their delivery fees, and if they’ve cut down on losses from Blinkit. There’s also talk about other numbers like how much money Zomato is making from food delivery and other parts of their business. Equirus Capital thinks Zomato’s profit could go up by 13% from the last quarter, and Kotak Institutional Equities thinks Zomato might make more money from things like advertising.
