New Delhi: A Reddit user shared a troubling experience, claiming they were suspended from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for reporting a security problem despite TCS’s rule protecting whistleblowers. The issue involved the user’s manager asking employees to use their personal laptops and share login details.
Feeling stuck, the user asked for advice on the platform, saying HR and managers weren’t helping due to bad relations. Suggestions from others included sharing the incident on LinkedIn and reaching out to higher-ups at TCS, like its ethics committee.
In response to comments, the user said they contacted senior officials and were blamed for things like sharing client info and using WhatsApp for work. This comes after TCS fired six employees in 2023 for favoring certain staffing firms in hiring contractors.
