New Delhi: The Wagh Bakri Tea Group, which owns The Wagh Bakri tea brand, lost its Executive Director, Parag Desai, at the age of 49.
On 15th October, while he was attempting to run away from street dogs, Desai stumbled outside his home and had a brain bleed. Desai was taken to the nearby Shelby Hospital for medical attention after a security officer informed the family about the accident. After a day of observation, he was moved to Zydus Hospital for an operation.
Following the accident, he apparently had severe head injuries, and On Sunday, he passed away from a brain haemorrhage. After the incident took place, the news has been widely displayed on many social media sites.
Parag Desai died after being ventilated for seven days straight in a private hospital in Ahmedabad on 22 October.
The report further stated that his last ceremonies were held today at 9 a.m. in the Thaltej crematorium.
Desai fainted after falling and suffering a brain haemorrhage. After being transferred right away to a private hospital, he was treated for brain surgery at a different facility. He passed away on Sunday night at approximately seven o’clock, according to a corporate official who was close to the Desai family.
Parag Desai’s father, Rajesh Desai the managing director of the Wagh Bakri Tea Group. Who has over 30 years of business experience oversaw the export, marketing, and sales divisions of the company. The company’s revenue surpasses by ₹1,500 crore.
Desai belonged to several organisations, including the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and was a well-known industry representative and tea taster.
Desai was referred to be “an expert tea taster and evaluator” on the Wagh Bakri website. He also holds an MBA from Long Island University in the United States. Desai was married to Vidisha, and they had a daughter, parisha.
As of Now, Piyush Desai will take the place of Parag Desai and will be considered as the new chairman and MD of the Wagh Bakri group.
