Sorted is a specialised edu-tech brand that offers a “No-Faff” digital marketing masterclass designed to simplify the complex world of digital marketing for small business owners, start-up entrepreneurs, and marketing professionals. The company prioritises logic and clarity to help grow its brand and business. The platform offers B2C masterclasses that can be attended live over Zoom or viewed at your own pace through self-paced videos. In addition, it conducts corporate masterclasses and has provided workshops for well-known brands like Titan, Kwan, Harman, Aditya Birla, and more.
Sorted was born during the pandemic as a result of the influx of inquiries they received for digital marketing sessions and workshops. They also noticed a significant increase in digital marketing spending and small businesses making their presence known in the digital space. This realisation inspired Pawan, Apurv, and Aarti to combine their expertise and create Sorted as a passion project to empower brands to generate revenue through digital channels.
‘What makes it different is that we are not coaches or teachers but marketers who have successfully sold everything from pins to real estate on digital platforms’, said Aarti, Co-founder of Sorted. “Having worked with hundreds of digital-first brands, we teach based solely on our experiences, including our wins and failures. Some of our case studies have even gained global recognition from Facebook and Google. What sets us apart from other digital classes is our hands-on approach, which includes sharing live case studies we have created and practical logic and hacks. In addition, we conduct workshops where students can create along with us during the masterclass. Furthermore, our community remains in contact with us through WhatsApp groups, where we continue to co-create and share the hacks we’ve previously taught”.
Sharing insight into the future of the Digital Marketing Industry in India
The future of digital marketing is likely to be shaped by new technologies, changing consumer behaviours, and evolving regulatory environments. There are several key trends and developments, including:
Increased personalisation: As consumers demand more personalised experiences, digital marketers will need to leverage data and technology to deliver more targeted messaging and experiences.
Rise of artificial intelligence: AI is already being used to power chatbots, voice assistants, and other marketing automation tools. In the future, AI is likely to become even more integral to digital marketing, enabling more sophisticated targeting, personalisation, and automation.
Continued growth of video: Video is already a hugely popular content format, and its popularity is expected to continue to rise. Digital marketers will need to create engaging, high-quality video content that resonates with their target audience.
Emphasis on privacy and security: With growing concerns around data privacy and security, digital marketers will need to be transparent about their data collection practices and take steps to protect consumer data.
Increased use of augmented reality and virtual reality: AR and VR technologies offer new opportunities for immersive, engaging digital experiences. Digital marketers will need to experiment with these technologies to find new ways to engage with their audience.
‘Entrepreneurship is endurance. One has to play it like a game and have the willingness to do whatever it takes, even if it means taking on tasks that may not be intrinsically interesting or enjoyable. This may involve performing jobs or completing tasks that are not in line with your ideal job description but are necessary for the startup’s success. Whether working long hours, taking on administrative duties, or completing menial tasks, a willingness to tackle whatever needs to be done can be a key factor in achieving success. Ultimately, those who are willing to work hard, be flexible, and approach each task with a positive attitude are the ones who are most likely to achieve their goals. This is what Aarti believes in terms of achieving success.
