New Delhi: India & Serbia agrees to set bilateral trade of 1 Billion Euros by the end of this decade. Honourable President H.E. Droupadi Murmu and her Serbian counterpart H.E. Aleksandar Vučić agreed to set a target for bilateral trade from the present 320 million euros to one billion euros by the end of this decade on the 8th of June at Belgrade.
Dr. Sudipta Narayan Roy, MD & CEO of Kolkata-based Ayush Pharmaceutical Company Powell Group, who is also the Chairman of the National Ayush Task Force at ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India) participated in the VVIP delegation accompanying the Honourable President of India, on her official visit to Europe. The multi-talented entrepreneur is spreading awareness regarding the Ayush sector across the globe through his various activities. The delegation was welcomed by H.E. Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia, who also hosted a State dinner for the VVIP delegation in his residence. During the official visit, Dr. Sudipta Narayan Roy engaged in fruitful discussions with the Ministry Of Health, aiming to explore the potential for collaboration in the field of Ayush as well as the pharmaceutical sector. Both sides expressed their enthusiasm for maximizing this opportunity and recognized the significance of forging strong ties in the sectors.
MD & CEO of Powell Groups, Dr. Roy also highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise and best practices, fostering research and development initiatives, and promoting trade and investment in the Ayush sector. The Honourable President also stressed the importance of promoting Ayurveda and exploring avenues for joint research and development, as she had a keen interest in that.
