In his new role, Indurkar will be responsible for overseeing the profit and loss (P&L) of BharatSwipe, the company’s point-of-sale (POS) business. He will also lead the rollout of BharatPe Speaker across various markets and spearhead the partnership with Unity Bank, as well as the non-banking financial company (NBFC) partners of BharatPe.

He highlighted Indurkar’s extensive experience in banking services, particularly in digital banking and digital payments, as invaluable for developing innovative payment products catering to both offline and online merchants and consumers.
Prior to joining BharatPe, Sandeep Indurkar accumulated over 18 years of experience at ICICI Bank, where he played a pivotal role in driving the bank’s digital transformation agenda. His expertise in banking services and familiarity with new-age banking products will contribute significantly to BharatPe’s growth and its pursuit of developing advanced payment solutions.
