New Delhi, October 1: The Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Ministry of Rural Development, felicitated its cleaning and housekeeping staff on 30 September 2026 as part of Safai Mitra Suraksha Seva Evam Samman Shivir under the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative, recognizing their dedicated contribution towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace. The occasion highlighted the role played by the cleaning staff in ensuring a clean, healthy and well-maintained working environment.
The felicitation was led by Secretary, Department of Land Resources. Senior officers and staff of the Department were present in the function. Ten cleaning staff members were honoured on the occasion for their dedicated contribution towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at the workplace.
